At Hughesville Jr/Sr High School you will encounter a challenging curriculum as well as a dedicated and experienced teaching staff that is willing to help students reach their maximum potential. Your student will experience a curriculum encompassing core subjects of Mathematics, Social Studies, English and Science. In addition, there is a broad offering of elective courses in Art, Business, Computers, Music and Foreign Languages. Students will have access to over 10 advanced placement courses in the areas of Math, Science, Social Studies, English and the Arts. In addition, your student will be able to take several dual enrollment classes offered through local universities and colleges in which your student will be able to get both high school and college credit. Students may also participate in Career/Technology and internship programs as they progress through their high school experience.
Students will also have the opportunity to participate in several extra-curricular activities which will enhance their experience here at Hughesville Jr/Sr high school. These include; school athletics, band, chorus, musicals and many other activities and clubs. Our school takes PRIDE in the efforts and accomplishments of our students outside of the classroom.
